Connections

We are an associated library of Yarra Theological Union in Box Hill, a Catholic theological faculty sponsored by a group of religious orders. Through YTU we are associated in turn with Melbourne College of Divinity, Australia’s largest ecumenical degree-granting body in theology. The Library is the principal research resource for Melbourne’s Christian Spirituality Centre and its specialised degree programs in spirituality. Our new location will make the collection more accessible to students and researchers from these and other institutions.

We have close contacts with Carmelite research institutes and libraries around the world, especially the Institutum Carmelitanum in Rome, the Carmelitana Collection in Washington DC, the Titus Brandsma Instituut in Nijmegen, the Nederlands Carmelitaans Instituut in Boxmeer, and the Titus Brandsma Centre in Manila.
